A 27-inch (70cm) Colombian has been declared the world's shortest man in the Guiness World Records.
Edward Nino Hernandez, aged 24, has been declared the world's shortest living man. He only weighs 10kg (22lbs). His mother said he hadn't grown since he was 2 years old. Hernandez said he felt happy because he was unique.
The previous record holder, He Pingping of China, died in March. He was 4cm taller than Hernandez.
People believe that he won't keep the world record for long as Khagendra Thapa Magar of Nepal is expected to take the ultimate title when his 18th birthday dawns in October. Khagendra is the current world's shortest teenager and is only 56cm (22in) tall. Gul Mohammed of India is the world's shortest man since records began who was 1cm taller than Khagendra.
Noemi Hernandez, Edward Nino's mother, said doctors couldn't explain why he only grew 40cm since birth.

Tony Blair has cancelled his London book signing of his memoirs, saying he wanted to prevent 'a lot of hassle' to the Metropolitan Police and the public.
A previous book signing in Dublin ended in disaster after protestors fired missiles of eggs and shoes at the former prime minister, which did not hit Blair. Gardaí had ended up arresting four protestors following the book signing.
Blair said this morning on ITV show Daybreak,
"I don't want the public to be inconvenienced by the inevitable hassle caused by protesters. It is not as if we need to do signings to sell copies of the memoirs. I know the Metropolitan Police would, as ever, have done a superb job in managing any disruption but I do not wish to impose an extra strain on police resources, simply for a book signing. I'm really sorry for those - as ever the majority - who would have come to have their books signed by me in person. I hope they understand."
Blair had then said he provided signed copies in the store rather than coming in person to the event. Another book signing was planned for Waterstones in Piccadilly, Central London.

Days of heavy rain in Guatemala has caused widespread flooding and landslides forcing the President to declare a State of Emergency.
It has been reported that at least 18 people have died, with at least 10 people dying inside a bus engulfed by a mudslide. The President said the rains 'undone' the reconstruction completed since the Tropical Storm Agatha, killing 165 people in May.
The heavy rain has saturated the terrain causing the hillsides to collapse suddenly. The congress has been asked for emergency funds to rebuilding.
65 miles of the Inter-American highway has been shut down to all traffic. A bridge replaced after May's tropical storm is closed due to major floods, cutting the route off to the south west of the country.
President Colom reported that the damage caused has so far reached £330m. The rain is predicted to continue for a further 48 hours, says the Guatemala national meteorological service forecast.

Dublin crowds have been throwing eggs and shoes at former Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair as he arrived at Easons in O'Connell Street for a book signing.
Earlier this week, Blair released a copy of his autobiography which revealed his rift with his successor Gordon Brown.
The missiles, which were thrown by anti-war protestors, failed to hit Blair. Gardaí (Irish police) arrested three people at a security barrier outside Easons. It has been revealed that more than 200 protestors demonstrated about his role in the wars this morning.
300 people turned out for Blair's autobiography book signing. A large gardaí presence is in the city, as well as O'Connell Street in Dublin. Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Coalition and the 32-County Sovereignty Movement are being represented in the demonstrations.
Richard Boyd-Barnett, of the Irish Anti-War Movement, said he was making 'blood money' from the memoirs.

A sign which clearly spelt 'Cotswold' incorrectly was in place on the A429 road for "a couple of weeks" before council staff finally became aware of the obvious error.
On the sign, which directs commuters to Cotswold Airport in Gloucestershire, the positions of the letters 's' and 'w' were switched round.
It wasn't until a passer-by notified the airport that the council took action, later saying to the aid: "Thanks for bringing it to our attention."
The council is now expecting the manufacturer to create a new, correctly-spelt sign at their own expense.
The airport had previously been called Kemble Airfield, but was renamed last year.

On the grounds of Ashley Cole's unreasonable behaviour, District Judge Christopher Simmonds has granted the Coles a divorce at the High Court after 4 years of lime-lit marriage.
The X-Factor judge Cheryl and England and Chelsea defender split in February when the media published articles on Ashley's infidelity.
They were engaged in 2005 in Dubai and were then married in 2006 in a lavish ceremony in Hertfordshire.
Their divorce could happen within a matter of weeks if both sides agree and there are no problems.
