Can you help produce invites for a food event?

If you go into a restaurant and sit down and read the menu and notice it is well designed then you'll notice the service and food is quite good. The same goes for invitations - if you are invited to a formal food event, you'll probably go because the invitation is well designed.

In this latest Habbo competition, Habbo want you to design an invite for a food event. Examples of a food event would be a dinner party, a bake-off or a opening-day at a pizza shop - whatever falls under the category!

The invite should be no larger than A4 size. If you wish to enter this competition, then attach your invite in a email and send it off to competitions.com@sulake.com. The subject should be invite only, not forgetting to put your Habbo name in the body of the email - as well as the team you are in.

The top 12 invitations will be selected. The winner will receive an Astro bar and five points for their team. Entries close on Sunday 12th September at 9am EST (2pm in London, 9pm in Singapore, 11pm in Sydney and 6am in Los Angeles).

Are you a budding chef? Maybe you're a budding interior/kitchen designer? Or perhaps you just love food? Well, Habbo's latest competition will help you get closer to your goal!

Everybody has a kitchen at home and use them for a lot of things, cooking, eating, storage space. Whatever yours is like at home, Habbo want to know! In this latest competition, take a photo of your kitchen and recreate it on Habbo!

Once you've created it, send in the screenshot and a photo of your kitchen to competitions.com@sulake.com! Don't forget to include your Habbo name or else the judges can't hand you your prize if you win! Three finalists will be chosen and other Habbo's may vote for the best kitchen look-a-like! Habbo has been updated yet again to make your experience as memorable as possible! Making rooms and making friends could not be easier!

Firstly, Habbo have introduced a nifty feature that enables you to place multiple items in a room. Rather than clicking time after time, at the press of a button your tiles and floorings, sofas and chairs will all be in your room at the same time! Also, clicking CTRL and the item will place it straight back into your inventory!

In addition to this, achievements have been updated making them clearer and messages not being cut off! You can also link to outside websites! Just type the URL into your speech and click on the link to the website, a nifty feature when showing friends cool things on the net.

If you have linked Habbo to Facebook, there is also a feature to make logging into Habbo through Facebook easier than before!

Are you back to school this week? A new year, new teachers and new people. Sometimes things can get a bit daunting and some people struggle to survive and don't settle in well.

Childline are looking to create a school survival guide and they need your help. How do you as a student manage the Back To School Blues? To help with the guide, Childline would like to know any tips on surviving those first few weeks.

Over the weekend, the login system has been a little mucked up! This is due to a big change, each and every Habbo must now log in using their email address rather than their Habbo name.

Frank and his friends have been working hard over the past few days to ensure that Habbo will be much safer for you and this is one of the measures that they have been taking.

We first met him a year ago when he hit our screens as a finalist on The X Factor. A year later, Olly Murs is back and is about to release a brand new single 'Please Don't Let Me Go' on August 29th.

Training a dog is one thing, but training a lion, or even a rhino, well, that's a whole new game!

With a little bit of imagination Habbo would like you to show them how horribly wrong it could go if you didn't train your new pets the right way.
All you have to do is make a funny, fast paced video, showing everyone how NOT to train their Lion or their Rhino!

HERE IS HOW TO ENTER:

- Create a video in Habbo using screencasting software like Hypercam. You can mix it up if you like, make a remix, make it faster, and some pixel art, but don't reveal your real faces or places.
- Keep the video at 1 minute or less.
- Upload the video to YouTube and enter the URL in the email, make sure you include your Habbo name!
- Email subject: Pet Video - and send the email to competitions.com@sulake.com

Important information:
Make sure you add your Habbo name to the email and that this is your submission to the How Not To Train Your Pet competiton in Habbo.com to the info field on YouTube so that no one else takes credit for your video!

Deadline for this competition is Thursday September 2nd, 9AM EST (6AM Angeles / 2PM London / 9PM Singapore / 11PM Sydney)

Prizes:
Winning video directors will receive 2 months of VIP and a Trainer badge.

A second herd of animals have herded it's way through to Habbo Hotel and into the Pet section of the catalogue!

Yes, that's right, Rhinoceros' are the newest additions to the Pet Shop. With the thick skin, a sharp horn and a scary disposition - who wouldn't want a little pet Rhino for protection from those nasty Habbos?

Rest assured, the Rhinos are cute and friendly, loyal and loving. If you've made an African Savannah room, these pets are just the ones for you to have! Lions and Rhinos - what's next to enter Habbo Hotel? Could it be a buffalo? We'll just have to wait and see.

Bonus Badge
Anyone who buys a Rhino from today (Thursday 26th August) until next Thursday (2nd September) will receive a bonus badge. Badges can be a bit late at times, so if it isn't there - try reloading the hotel or waiting a day! If it still doesn't appear, use the Habbo Help tool.
