HP's decision to make this investment reflects the quality of Scotland's skilled workforce to perform and deliver such success."

Marc Waters, head of Strategy said: [i]"HP has a strong heritage, and I am delighted to confirm our investment to develop the site as a hub for delivering industry-leading technology. The plant was opened in 1987 by Compaq, and was taken over by Hewlett-Packard in 2002. At one stage, 2,500 people were employed on the site.
